A few people have asked us, "Why do you need our name and city and state?" To answer this, please know that Name is definitely optional, it just helps us keep organized. So if you feel unsure about texting that, just don't send it. As for City/State, we are trying to keep notifications to a minimum and keep them specific to area. For example, we will only send details specific to say, Nashville TN, to the people who live in Nashville, TN and not bother people in other cities with tour updates or info that doesn't relate to their area. So if you send your City and State, we can keep updates to a minimum. But putting your City/State is totally optional too. Just texting BTOWN t o 41411 will be anonymous.
*NOTE Text messages may have a charge associated with them. This will depend on your texting plan and your mobile carrier. Some plans give you thousands or even unlimited text messages and some don't, so you may want to check your plan before joining if you have concerns about that.
